Parks in Bolton and Tameside have been awarded Lottery funding from the Parks for People programme to pay for the cost of redevelopment.

Stamford Park between Ashton and Stalybridge in Tameside will receive £3.9m and Queens Park, Bolton £4.3m from the Big Lottery Fund and Heritage Lottery Fund.

Parks in Leicester, Middlesbrough, Southampton and Letchworth Garden City also won HLF and BLF support.
