Pareto acquires bigger office

Davenham has sold a 4,500 sq ft office at 8 St John Street in Manchester city centre to the financial planning company.

Pareto is relocating from a 1,500 sq ft Regus office in Hardman Square, Spinningfields. The sale agreed was not disclosed.

The company, which was founded by John Stevenson and George Chantry in May 2008, was given financial backing from the Royal Bank of Scotland to acquire the new office.

Stevenson said: "This is a fantastic next step for us and says a lot about where we are going as a firm.

"St John Street has a reputation for attracting quality, professional organisations and we feel very proud to become a part of that.

"It has been a great few years for Pareto and our continued success, even in these uncertain economic times, reinforces the value of what we are doing – and of financial planning in general."

WHR Property Consultants was the agent involved in the deal.
