Panter joins Lewis & Hickey from ASL

Clive Panter has joined Lewis & Hickey Architects as director of architecture and head of the Manchester office after nearly 10 years at Austin-Smith:Lord.

He will act alongside the existing management team in Manchester and will also be working closely with the firm's other regional offices.

Lewis & Hickey is working with a range of clients in the North West including Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group. Current projects include the University of Liverpool's 1,259 bed Crown Place student accommodation scheme in addition to projects for local NHS trusts.

Panter said: "Leading Lewis & Hickey's Manchester office gives me an opportunity to build on the strengths that exist nationally, particularly the market leading position in student living, retail and mixed use commercial projects. Current projects such as the Redhill Station for Solum Regeneration embraces residential and commercial activity to deliver strategic regeneration objectives, and this fits well with my own experience in the North West."

Paul Miele, chief executive of Lewis & Hickey, said: "Clive has already hit the ground running travelling around our various UK locations and getting to know our people. We will be making further management announcements in some of other offices soon as part of the development of our business in 2014."
