Panels announced for university works

University of Liverpool has named more than 20 firms to frameworks for building consultancy services for the next four years.

The numerous lots cover disciplines from architecture to engineering, construction and technical consulting.

The appointed firms will work throughout the university estate and surrounding off-site locations within the Merseyside area including Wirral.

The firms appointed are:

  • 2020 Liverpool – Appointed to separate frameworks for architectural services, structural engineering, mechanical and electrical services, project management services
  • AA Projects, Prescot – Building surveying, project management, safety monitoring, quantity surveying
  • Architects Design Partnership, Manchester – Architectural services
  • Arcus Consulting, Sale – Building surveying services
  • Cassidy & Ashton Group, Chester – Building surveying, architectural
  • Cunliffes, Bootle – Project management
  • Currie & Brown, Altrincham – Project management
  • Curtins Consulting, Liverpool – Structural engineering
  • Faithful & Gould, Warrington – Safety monitoring, quantity surveying
  • Gleeds Cost Management, Liverpool – Quantity surveying
  • GVA, Manchester – Building surveying
  • Halliday Meecham Architects, Manchester – Architectural
  • Hoare Lea, Manchester – Mechanical and electrical
  • Nightingale Associates, Oxfordshire – Architectural
  • Opus International Consultants, Wrexham – Structural engineering
  • Pick Everard, Leicester – Mechanical and electrical, safety monitoring
  • Rider Levett Bucknall, Salford Quays – Safety monitoring
  • Robinson Low Francis, Birmingham – Safety monitoring
  • SDA Consulting, Salford – Quantity surveying
  • Simon Fenton Partnership, Manchester – Quantity surveying
  • Sutcliffe, Liverpool – Structural engineering
  • Todd & Ledson, Liverpool – Quantity surveying
  • Weightman & Bullen Architects, Liverpool – Architectural
  • WYG Engineering, Trafford – Mechanical and electrical

There were two lots announced for construction. The first was for works up to £500,000:

  • John Turner, Liverpool
  • Aspect Construction & Civil Engineering, Frodsham
  • F Parkinson, Bury
  • Harry Fairclough, Warrington
  • Garside Laycock, Preston

The second construction lot was for jobs between £500,000 and £5m:

  • Aspect Construction & Civil Engineering, Frodsham
  • John Turner Construction Group, Liverpool
  • Mansell Construction Services, Cheadle Hulme
  • Kier Construction, Liverpool
