Pair sign at Exchange Quay

Nearly 15,000 sq ft have been let in two deals at Exchange Quay, the 500,000 sq ft office complex at the entrance to Salford Quays.

Kin-Tec has signed a lease on 8,181 sq ft on the fifth floor of Building 4 for a term of 10 years. Kin-Tec is a specialist recruiting agency for the oil and gas and energy sectors and will relocate from Old Trafford.

Neil McCarthy, director of Kin-Tec Recruitment, said: "The lease on our existing offices is coming to an end and as the business has grown so has our need for larger accommodation. Exchange Quay met our criteria on all counts. It provided all the space we required on one floor, the location was ideal for all our employees as well as the business with its generous parking, Metrolink station and everyday local amenities on its doorstop."

Logistics company CH Robinson is tripling its presence at Exchange Quay, taking a nine year lease on 6,785 sq ft on the 13th floor of Building 5 and will be relocating from Building 8.

"Our regional business has continued to grow, not only organically, but also with the acquisition of two logistics companies based at the airport. The need now is to consolidate all the operations under one roof," said Chris Mills, branch manager at CH Robinson Manchester.

Canning O'Neill and Savills acted for the landlord Exchange Quay Master Trust.
