Overbury wins coveted GMC job

The General Medical Council has picked Overbury, part of the Morgan Sindall group, to carry out the fit-out contract for its new office in Spinningfields, Manchester.
The GMC is relocating 340 staff from Bruntwood's St James' Buildings to 3 Hardman Street in the Allied London project.
The organisation signed a lease for around 50,000 sq ft and plans to be in occupation by the end of 2009.
More than 100 contractors registered an interest in the tender to fit out the offices. The value of the contract awarded to Overbury was not disclosed.
