Overbury names commercial director
The fit-out specialist has promoted Dan Hooker to commercial director following a period of growth for the company’s Northern region.
Peter Knight, MD of Overbury in the North, said Hooker, a contracts manager at the firm for the past six years, has been instrumental in securing and successfully delivering key projects in both Manchester and Leeds. Hooker has previously worked for Styles & Wood, ISG and Morgan Sindall.
The promotion, which is effective immediately, will see Hooker work to help strengthen Overbury’s market position and ensure a consistent quality delivery throughout the business.
Peter Knight added: “Having experienced a renewed appetite in fit-out we have worked hard to secure a number of key contract wins and to grow our market share. I am particularly delighted to have filled this position with an internal promotion. Overbury’s Northern region comprises offices in Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow. Its team has experience of working across a variety of market sectors on fit out projects from a few thousand pounds up to £50m. Clients include AstraZeneca, BBC, University of Salford, ITV, HSBC, Barclays, Plusnet, Yorkshire Post, Nabarro, University of Leeds, PwC, Network Rail and West Yorkshire Police.
