Orpin moves to CBRE

Kenny Orpin has left Gatehouse Bank to join CBRE’s investment advisory team in Manchester as an associate director, working under senior director Andrew Antoniades.

Based in Manchester, Orpin will be part of CBRE’s real estate lending team and will work across the UK on real estate lending strategies.

Orpin was previously Gatehouse Bank’s lead on commercial real estate financing in the North West. He took up the role in October last year, but left the role in March.

He has also worked for Santander where he managed a number of clients in the region; before this he was part of Barclay’s Corporate’s structured property finance team, also based in Manchester.

CBRE’s team currently manages debt mandates totalling £800m, including investment and development lending.

Antoniades said: “Kenny is a key hire in our drive to expand of our Lending business and extend our reach to clients in the UK regions. We see many attractive investment opportunities as well as chances to make loans to fund regeneration across the UK regions, and in particular in the North West.”
