Orbit toasts new restaurant tenants in Bolton
Orbit Developments has added Frankie & Benny's and Chiquito to its line-up at Middlebrook Retail and Leisure Park in Bolton.
The developer has secured pre-let agreements on 25-year leases with The Restaurant Group trading as Frankie & Benny's and Chiquito for 4,500 sq ft and 4,000 sq ft respectively.
Mark Hanna, senior retail leasing surveyor at Orbit Developments, said: "This is excellent news. We continue to see growth in footfall and with over 1 million customers in July, we have seen one of the busiest periods since the park opened in 1997. I'm confident that the arrival of both restaurants will help us maintain this success, expanding our offer, increasing dwell times and attracting new customers to the park."
Orbit has secured planning permission for the construction of two new buildings, totalling 9,500 sq ft to accommodate the restaurants. The plans include a new car parking deck with space for an additional 213 cars. Construction will start in the autumn and approximately 45 jobs are expected to be created from the arrival of the new restaurants.
