Orbit agrees deal with Metro Rod

Orbit Developments has let 14,039 sq ft of office space in Macclesfield to Metro Rod, a commercial drainage services company.

Metro Rod, part of the Enserve Group, moved 80 staff from Macclesfield town centre to Ashwood Court, in Tytherington Business Park. The new tenant signed a 10-year lease at £10/sq ft.

The letting follows Orbit's recent deal to internet technology company vee24 which took 3,000 sq ft in Pinewood Court, Tytherington Business Park.

Paul McLeman, leasing director of Orbit Developments, said: "We expect this recent interest in the business park to continue."
