Operator sought for Lytham care home

Worthington Properties has instructed CBRE in Manchester to bring a care facility development opportunity in Lytham St Annes to the market.

The proposed 70-bedroom care facility will be on a landscaped plot with designated public areas and parking, and forms part of a larger mixed-use development on Heyhouses Lane.

The scheme includes a Booths supermarket, a Joseph Holts family-dining pub and a residential development by Morris Homes.

The specialist markets team at CBRE is inviting interest from established operators within the care sector to pre-let the facility.

Shaun Skidmore, director of CBRE's specialist markets team, said: "Opportunities of this nature, where an operator can lease a tailor-made facility designed to their exact specification, don't present themselves every day so we anticipate strong interest in this site. To have all the benefits associated with being part of a quality mixed-use scheme is a great selling point and will inevitably ensure interest from a number of operators."
