Opening phase completes at Dee View industrial park

The first part of the employment scheme, part-funded by Cheshire West & Chester Council, has completed with a pre-let for a second phase already secured.

Europa Court, made up of 10 small business units totalling 21,500 sq ft, has been handed over by MPH Construction, with only one of these units remaining available. Along with Cheshire West & Chester Council’s Property Reinvestment Programme, the first phase was also supported by the European Regional Development Fund.

A second phase, solely funded by the council’s Property Reinvestment Programme, is due to complete this month and totals 20,800 sq ft. M&S Hair Supplies has already signed up for a 4,200 sq ft unit.

Dee View sits within the wider Sealand Industrial Estate, which has occupiers including Plumbase, Screwfix, Toolstation,, Camlock, and Topps Tiles.

Legat Owen is the sole agent for the scheme; Mark Diaper, associate director, said: “The Council’s foresight to provide high quality flexible business accommodation in the West Chester Commercial BID area will provide additional economic impact to this already well-established business destination. We have been pleased but not surprised with the occupier uptake with nine units let or under offer.”
