Online fashion firm takes unit at Helix
Big Style Fashion has leased a 15,800 sq ft industrial unit on Helix Business Park in Ellesmere Port.
The retailer has taken unit eight for its online fashion business.
Gaerwen Properties secured the letting for the second phase of Helix on Newbridge Road. Helix is part of the Cheshire Science Corridor, an initiative supported and promoted by the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.
Developer Gaerwen Properties and its development manager Hatrick Properties appointed Portal as contractor, with C4 Projects on the team as architect and project manager. Work began on the second phase in March 2019 and completed in October 2019.
Wall cladding manufacturer BePlas is another occupier at the site, it leased the 12,000 sq ft unit seven last year. It is understood that the final 12,000 sq ft on the site is also under offer.
Helix is made up of 92,000 sq ft of manufacturing units situated close to junction 10 of the M53 motorway.
The first phase, of 52,000 sq ft, was let at practical completion to Cook Compression and Thyson Technologies.

The quality of the development and the proximity of the scheme to the surrounding motorway network means that we are now well placed for 2020 and beyond.”
Stephen Wade, director at Legat Owen and agent for the scheme, said: “The scheme benefits from being situated in the Cheshire Science Corridor, which offers qualifying occupiers generous rates incentives. We have let over 80,000 sq ft so quickly after the site’s completion.”
