Oldham launches Lancaster Club contest

Oldham Council has started the formal procurement process to appoint a developer for 200 homes for sale or private rent on 13 acres at the Lancaster Club site.

The site, which includes the grade 2-listed club, was reserved for residential-led development in December 2013 as part of a strategy to build 1,000 units published by the council.

The five-year development contract is being awarded through the Chest public procurement system.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 15 October. Pozzoni masterplanned the site for Oldham Council.
