Oldham business parks sold

Meridian Developments has sold two parks in Oldham to London-based Bizspace.

The Finchley-based company has bought both the Hollinwood Business Centre, based around the former Albert Mill, and Saddleworth Centre, in the Lumb Mill, Delph, for an undisclosed sum.

The parks are both fully occupied. Meridian is a joint venture between Oldham Council and local businessmen Craig Pickering and Peter Hopwood. Meridian was set up in 1985 in order to acquire the former Dronsfield Engineering business in the town to establish managed workshops and office units.

Pickering will stay on as consultant for 12 months.
