Around 30,000 sq ft of office deals have been completed in Chester city centre and the 175-acre Chester Business Park in the last six months.

Virgin Money, advised by GVA, has met its longstanding requirement for offices in Chester city centre and has signed for 10,000 sq ft in the recently completed Fountains building in Delamere Street.

Developer Watkin Jones is the landlord of the mixed-use building.

At Chester Business Park, luxury travel retailer Elegant Resorts has bought the 14,200 sq ft Sandpiper House for its new headquarters from Bank of America for £1m. The retailer is completing a full refurbishment.

Also at the business park, investment manager Deepbridge Capital has taken 4,500 sq ft in the Honeycomb development. The 42,000 sq ft eight-unit scheme for small and medium-sized businesses was launched by Palladium Group at the end of last year.

BA Commercial and Legat Owen are agents at Honeycomb.
