OBI to appraise Keoghs’ property requirements

The property needs of the Keoghs law firm are under review in light of an investment from Lloyds Development Capital and rapid expansion plans.

OBI Property, Manchester has been appointed to review property strategy at the law firm for the next three years.

Keoghs currently has four offices, including its headquarters, in Bolton; one in Manchester city centre; and one in Coventry.

The firm employs 900 people.

Its Bolton head office is within Orbit Developments' Parklands scheme at the Middlebrook Business and Retail Park, Horwich

It also has an office in the Reebok Stadium, Bolton, while its Manchester office is in Peter House, Oxford Street.

OBI Property director Will Lewis said "Keoghs has a number of lease arrangements with critical dates in 2015 and the firm has appointed OBI to advise on the appropriate property strategy to pursue which will enable the business to adapt quickly in the dynamic marketplace it operates within."

Keoghs partner Steve Lees said: "We have engaged OBI to explore what options might be available to ensure that our property interests are fully aligned with our ambitious growth plans for the business.

"As a business services organisation Keoghs is very much a 'people business' consequently it is important that the firm's working environment not only supports our team-based, process-driven, technology enabled way of working but provides a great place to work for both our existing people and potential recruits."

OBI Property was established in 2010 by Will Lewis, Gary Scorah and Dominic Horridge.

It is a real estate company which provides advice and consultancy to its clients which range from building owners and landlords to investment funds.
