OBI adds to offices team

OBI Property has hired Richard Lace to its offices team as an associate director working alongside Will Lewis and Emma Powell.

Lace joins OBI Property following 10 years at GVA's Manchester office where he was an associate in the office agency department.

Lace said: "Since establishing OBI in 2010 the business has grown from strength to strength picking up a significant number of high profile disposal and acquisition instructions, and establishing itself as one of the leading commercial advisors in the North West property market. To be given the chance to be part of the team was too good an opportunity to pass up and I am relishing the challenges that lie ahead in my new role."

Will Lewis, director of OBI Property, said: "Richard was one of the first people I ever met in property when I started my career and I know he has all the interpersonal skills and professional ability to have a great career at OBI. Although the market is challenging, there remains plenty of activity and we can't wait for Richard to get involved in some of our exciting projects."

OBI Property's clients include Allied London, MEPC, Ged Mason, Bruntwood, Aviva, Brown Shipley, NorthEdge Capital and Keoghs. OBI Property now employs 12 people.
