OBI has appointed surveyor Graham Thorpe to its building consultancy team.
Thorpe previously worked at Paragon for two years and previously Savills, and will be servicing OBI’s clients on developments including The ABC Buildings and Bonded Warehouse for Allied London, 79 Mosley Street for Boultbee Brooks Real Estate and Manchester Goods Yard for Booking.com.
The appointment brings OBI’s headcount to 31 people, with seven in the building consultancy team. Current projects include the extension of St James’s Tower on Charlotte Street and building refurbishment at Hyphen, 75 Mosley Street.
According to OBI, the company acted on 42% of the office space transacted in Manchester city centre last year.
Co-founder Dominic Horridge said: “Graham’s got the skills and experience which we know will be a great addition to both the business and our clients. He also shares OBI’s values of exceptional client service, hard work and innovation.”
