NWDA sustainable buildings conference this month

An event is being held by the North West Development Agency in Manchester to raise awareness of its sustainable buildings policy.

North West Development Agency's sustainable buildings policy aims to make sure development contributes to the economic vitality of the region.

The NWDA policy has an objective concerned with supporting the idea that its grant funding supports businesses at a regional and sub-regional level.

Its first objective is to support local businesses to ensure investment within the region is to the benefit of businesses locally. The second issue is the development of key industries within the region.

Guest speakers already confirmed include:

  • Jayne Lomas, Homes and Communities Agency
  • Bill Taylor, Fusion 21
  • Steve Holye, Elevate
  • Phil Burgess, Wilmott Dixon

The event, being held at CUBE in Manchester, will take place on Thursday 24 September from 1.30pm.
