Norton Healthcare has signed a lease for a 16,500 sq ft office building in Abbots Park for a research facility.
Norton agreed a 10-year lease for the self-contained, three-storey building, where quoting rents are £15/sq ft. The company operates from a manufacturing facility nearby at Preston Brook and said that the new R&D function was part of the firm's ongoing expansion strategy.
Jonathan Baucher, associate of C&W said: "This deal represents the largest office transaction to be completed in the Warrington area this year. We conducted an extensive search of the North West office market, which ultimately led us to identify Abbots Park as the preferred option."
Cushman & Wakefield's Manchester project management team carried out the due diligence and has also been retained to carry out the project management role for the fit-out of the new facility.
Norton was advised by Cushman & Wakefield. The landlord, Peleton Properties, was advised by Altus Eileen Bilton and GVA.
