Northern sells self-build estate

Northern Trust has sold all of its self-build housing plots on a greenfield site overlooking Farington Park in Leyland, Lancashire.

Farington Lodge Gardens will contain 11 houses set within two acres, accessed through a gated entrance off a private road linking to Stanifield Lane.

The developer said infrastructure works are now complete, with construction of the majority of houses underway.

A spokesman for Northern Trust added: "There has been considerable interest shown in the scheme and we are delighted that our plan to add prosperity to the Farington area is coming to fruition."
