Northern Rail picks LSH to manage portfolio

Lambert Smith Hampton has won a pair of three-year contracts to manage Northern Rail's property portfolio of 471 stations from the Midlands to Scottish border.

The largest station in the estate is Manchester Victoria with 20,000 passengers a day.

The two contracts, both with the option for a two-year extension, will see LSH provide professional advice and services on all commercial property-related matters.

John Wasp, associate director at LSH's Manchester office, said: "This is a massive coup for LSH and testament to the hard work and dedicated service offering the team consistently deliver. It also goes a long way to cement the on-going relationship we have with Northern Rail."

The contract will be managed across LSH's Leeds and Manchester offices.
