Following a recent meeting with delegates of the combined northern region's property teams, the date of 7 May has been agreed for the annual tri-regions rugby union tournament to be held at Carnegie Stadium, Headingly, Leeds.
The North West team is keen to regain the Rose Bowl after their narrow defeat to rivals Yorkshire last year.
Preparations have been buoyed by the confirmation that Graftongate has been selected as principal sponsor for the North West team. Graftongate is a leading developer of logistics space in the country.
Tony O'Keefe, director at DTZ, commented: "The annual Tri-regions rugby tournament has gained terrific momentum and is quickly becoming one of the most attended events in the property world. All the teams are grateful to Graftongate for their support in sponsoring this key annual event.
"The North West's team heads to Headingly in May with every expectation of returning with the silverware. We are currently in the final stage of squad selection and additional players are welcome."
