Non-execs named on Marketing Lancs board
Marketing Lancashire has expanded its board with the recruitment of four non-executive directors from the private sector.
The new directors are lawyer James Allison, partner and head of real estate at Napthens; Craig Bancroft, joint managing director of Northcote Leisure Group; Anna Doran, general manager Anglo-Scottish route Virgin Trains; and Clive Drinkwater, regional director UKTI.
Tony Attard, chairman of the board, said: “Building a strong and skillful board is one of the great pleasures of being chair and I look forward to the great contribution I know each will make to the greater success of Lancashire.”
Ruth Connor, chief executive of Marketing Lancashire, said: “I am looking forward to working more closely with James, Craig, Anna and Clive as we launch the new Lancashire narrative to promote Lancashire with a strong, confident, unified voice that encourages and supports greater investment and interest in this wonderful county.

Marketing Lancashire is the destination management organisation for Lancashire, established in April 2012. Its activities in marketing and communications, commercial membership and place marketing are designed to grow the visitor economy and develop the profile of Lancashire as the first choice destination to live, study, work and invest.
