Independent property consultant Nolan Redshaw has achieved planning permission for a 29,000 sq ft food store at the centre of Standish, on behalf of the owner butcher Noel Chadwick.
Situated on a 2.5 acre site in Standish town centre, the store will also provide 150 car park spaces. No operators are currently confirmed for the unit, but Noel Chadwick is investigating the possibility of developing the site for its own occupancy.
The butcher will stay at its current location on Standish High Street.
Mike Redshaw, director at Nolan Redshaw, commented: "Although it has taken nearly three years to achieve, we are delighted to have completed this deal. Standish town centre continues to experience rapid growth and with a further 1,200 houses proposed in the Local Plan a food store will undoubtedly be a valued community asset."
