Nolan Redshaw names non-exec chairman

The Busy-based chartered surveyor has appointed Alan Pateman-Jones, former managing partner of EY, as non-executive chairman.

Pateman-Jones was director general of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission until earlier this year, with operational responsibility for 23,000 sites in 153 countries. He was managing partner of EY in the UK, Northern Europe, Middle East, India and Africa until 2009.

Nolan Redshaw said Pateman-Jones would bring a high level corporate strategy and be responsible for a strategic overview, tactical guidance, future business development and improving the company's performance.

He is currently self-employed.
