No Chintz wins Greenhouse contract as four sign up

Four new companies have taken office space at the development at Media City in Salford Quays.

Libra Television, digital business development advisor Peachy, Armstrong Legal and Kelly's Eye Animation are the latest tenants to join Dreamscope Productions, which relocated to the development last week.

The Greenhouse at Media CityPeel Media, developers of Media City, secured planning permission at the start of the year to convert a three-storey building next to The Pie Factory into a range of office suites suitable for small creative companies. The building is also located near to the new homes for BBC, ITV and Salford University.

Architects Stephenson Bell designed the plans for the exterior and interior of The Greenhouse.

Stephen Wild, managing director of Media City, said: "The Greenhouse offers low-cost, flexible office space and is a perfect solution for small, creative businesses keen to be part of the ever-growing Media City UK community. We now have a total of 30 small creative companies who have made Media City UK their base and we are delighted to welcome four newcomers."

Office space is available within The Greenhouse from £50/desk a week.

Meanwhile, Manchester-based interior design agency No Chintz was appointed by Peel Media to provide workstations, meeting rooms and break out spaces for The Greenhouse.

Spaces are being furnished with between two and six workstations and are ready to occupy. The first new tenants have already moved in.
