Altair New Boulevard Small

Nikal shares Altair CGIs

The developer has released visuals of the proposed second phase of its £70m Altair scheme in Altrincham town centre.

A reserved matters application for this phase was submitted earlier this year and will go to Trafford Council’s planning committee next month.

Work on phase one, which comprises 59 apartments and ground floor retail, started in January.

The new visuals show Stephenson Studio’s designs for phase two of the 4.5-acre development. Four buildings will offer a total of 85 one, two and three-bedroom apartments to be delivered by Nikal’s homebuilding arm Hillcrest Homes.

As well as restaurants and bars, the commercial element of Altair will include up to 35,000 sq ft of office space.

Gascoigne Halman in Altrincham has been appointed as agent on phase one, with apartments released from 1 July.
