Nexus boosts Manchester office
The planning and regeneration consultancy has appointed Damien Cutting from Trafford Council as senior planner, and has promoted Justin Cove to associate director.
During his time at Trafford, Cutting was involved with a wide range of planning application policy projects, and oversaw the development of many major retail, mixed-use and residential schemes within the Manchester area.
In addition, Cove's promotion from associate to associate director will see him take on a leading role in the Manchester team's residential workload. Cove is currently advising on on planning appeal inquires for Bloor Homes and Hollins Strategic Land in the region.
Nexus Planning has recently been appointed to deliver development strategies for Southport and Crosby and is the planning consultant for the Barons Quay project in Northwich.
Peter Tooher, director of Nexus Planning's Manchester office, said: "Damien could not be joining us at a better time. Damien's experience on a number of major retail schemes, as well the regeneration of Altrincham town centre, will further strengthen our capabilities in this important market. Justin's knowledge and experience is increasingly valued by a number of our housebuilder clients and he has been central to our growing profile in this sector."
Congratulations Damien – would be good to catch up soon.
