Nexus adds to regional housing offer
Nexus Planning has appointed Tom Relph as planning consultant as part of the expansion of its Manchester-based team.
Relph joined from Bolton-based Sedgwick Associates. He will support Nexus Planning's growing project portfolio, initially concentrating on the residential market.
Peter Tooher, director of the Manchester office, said: "This strategic appointment reflects our continued commitment to the region's residential sector and our confidence in its future growth, and will reinforce our market-leading skills, expertise and experience as we grow our team in our first year as an independent business."
Since being created out of architecture, urbanism and design practice Broadway Malyan last May, Nexus Planning has secured a series of appointments in the North West region with leading clients. Its Manchester-based team has recently submitted an application for a residential-led mixed-use scheme with 56 homes in Mawdesley, Chorley, for client Bloor Homes.
Meanwhile, it is taking a 410 house scheme at Rigby Road, Blackpool, for client Hollinwood Homes and which is now in construction, through to delivery. Nexus Planning is also providing strategic planning advice to the Homes & Communities Agency, on a 650-house project at Whittingham Hospital, Preston.
