New starters at HOW

Manchester-based HOW Planning has once again expanded its team with three new additions.

The firm's retail team is boosted by the arrival of Keith Jones as associate from Steven Abbott Associates. The retail team at HOW now has six staff, servicing an increasing caseload for retailers including Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, Aldi, as well as national and regional developer clients.

Daniel Chant joins as a planner and will be working on a range of HOW projects including residential, employment and mixed use schemes for clients such as Taylor Wimpey, Bloor Homes and Kingmoor Park Properties.

Having worked for Gladman Developments for three years, Chant's move into a consultancy role provides a more diverse range of planning experience on a wide variety of different projects.

New graduate planner Louisa Fielden joined from Manchester University, bringing the total number at HOW to 30.

Gary Halman, managing partner, said: "It's a strong market for consultants with a proven track record and we are delighted to have appointed such fantastic additions to our team. HOW is growing as a business and we are planning for the future. We expect to be able to make further announcements very soon."
