New starters and promotion at HOW

Manchester-based HOW Planning has taken on two new members of staff and promoted one to keep pace with expansion.

Chris Peacock, who initially worked at HOW when he left university, has returned to join the environmental team as a senior environmental consultant.

Dan Brown has joined from Drivers Jonas Deloitte as a senior planner. He will work with HOW's food and non-food retail clients including Waitrose, Marks & Spencer and B&Q.

There are now 15 staff at the firm. Gary Halman, managing partner, said: "We've been able to make two very significant appointments with Chris and Dan as they both bring extensive experience and expertise to the team. The latter part of the year has been very positive with a number of major new clients joining HOW. As such we are looking to create more opportunities for graduates and young planners to join the team so we can prepare for a busy start to the new year."

In addition to the new appointments HOW has also announced an internal move with graduate planner Amy James promoted to planner.
