New project manager for St Modwen’s Great Homer Street

St Modwen Properties has promoted Paul Batho to senior development manager in charge of the £150m Great Homer Street development in North Liverpool.

Batho, stepping up from development manager, replaces Chris Newsome, who left before the summer to join Simons Developments based in Leeds.

The 45-acre Great Homer Street scheme will deliver a new 115,000 sq ft foodstore, new homes, health centre, library and 80,000 sq ft retail centre.

Four years of talks with Tesco over taking the foodstore element ended in stalemate recently.

Hitchcock Wright & Partners and GVA Grimley are letting agents.
