New partner at Knight Frank Manchester

Knight Frank has hired Elaine Duffy from DTZ as a partner in its Manchester office.

In her new role, Duffy will lead Knight Frank's property asset management team of three staff in the North West to help grow the division and enhance the firm's national offering, which is targeted at pension funds, offshore trusts, private investors and other property owners.

Duffy spent six years at DTZ where she was an associate director and worked with the Canal & River Trust and helped Manchester Airports Group manage its non-operational portfolio.

David Porter, head of Knight Frank's Manchester office said: "This is a strategic appointment that will boost our property asset management expertise across the region. Elaine is heading up a growing team with responsibility for developing this area of our business and expanding our client base."

Specialising in offices, retail and industrial premises, Knight Frank's national property asset management team includes surveyors, accountants and facilities managers that deal with over 42m sq ft of real estate across the UK. Its services enhance and protect property investments, reduce operating costs, minimise risk and ensure optimal occupier retention.
