New occupiers at Stockport Trading Estate

CB Richard Ellis has reported deals totaling 79,500 sq ft at Stockport Trading Estate.

Brookbank Canoes has taken 19,000 sq ft, while Authentic Foods has extended its occupancy to 23,500 sq ft. A further 37,000 sq ft will be occupied by fire products manufacturer, Tyco.

The site, owned by clients of CBRE Investors, fronts the M60 and existing occupiers include Booker Cash & Carry, Plumbing Trade Supplies and Plumb Centre.

Paul Cook, associate director of industrial agency at CBRE, commented: "Stockport Trading Estate provides a unique opportunity for occupiers who require quality warehousing in close proximity to the M60 motorway. In addition, the landlord is currently refurbishing two 10,000 sq ft warehouse units at the facility, which will be completed imminently.

"The continued activity within the market is a positive sign that businesses are still thriving and seeking new space to facilitate growth, and we anticipate demand to be high due to the shortage of stock in the marketplace."

CBRE was letting agent on all three deals.
