New hire at Indigo

Independent town and planning consultancy Indigo Planning is continuing to expand its Manchester office with the appointment of Deborah Baker in the role of planner.

Baker joined this month from Cheshire East Council. She has six years' experience in the industry across retail, residential, commercial and industrial, with a particular interest in heritage.

Doug Hann, director and head of Indigo Planning's 18-strong Manchester office, said: "Developer activity in the North West is increasing and our Manchester office is continuing to expand as a result. Deborah's private sector background combined with her insight from spells working for local authorities will be a great asset to our clients as we navigate the challenges of delivering development in the region."

Baker has a masters in planning from the University of Manchester, where she also studied for her first degree in history and environment. She is a member of the RTPI.
