New director of regeneration in Manchester cabinet reshuffle

Steve Mycio has been appointed interim deputy chief executive for regeneration by Manchester City Council.

He replaces Eamonn Boylan, who left to join the new Homes & Communities Agency as deputy chief executive.

Mycio was previously deputy chief executive of performance and will continue to sit on the committee boards for performance and children. He will also retain his role with the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities in preventing violent extremism.

Geoff Little becomes acting deputy chief executive of performance.
