New director for Stride Treglown

Architects practice Stride Treglown Chapman Robinson has appointed Gordon Tero as a divisional director in its Manchester office.

Australian-trained Tero, 40, will eventually take over from regional director Gill Robinson when she retires at the end of this year.

Tero joins after spending ten years at Building Design Partnership. He has previously worked on projects such as Manchester's Spinningfields quarter, Central Spine, and University Hospitals of Leicester PFI.

He plans to increase the range of sectors that the Manchester office currently works in by strengthening the links with the Stride Treglown network of offices.

Tero said: "It's exciting to be joining a company with a strong national network, I'm looking forward to being able to work with my colleagues in each region. Experience is so important in this industry and it is invaluable to have a team of people to tap into and work with as a strategic and creative resource."
