New director at FCHO

David Woods joined First Choice Homes Oldham this week as homes and investment director from Liverpool Mutual Homes, where he was assistant director of property services.

Woods will take responsibility for the new builds programme, asset management, and repairs and maintenance of 12,000 properties in Oldham.

He will also lead on the delivery of FCHO's £149m investment programme. He is a professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and holds an MSc in Construction Project Management from Liverpool John Moores University.

Cath Green, chief executive of FCHO, said: "David impressed us with his strong track record in the sector and his commitment to personal and staff development. David is a good fit for FCHO's values and we are confident he will make a positive contribution to our team and deliver on our promises to customers and stakeholders."

Woods said: "I am thrilled to be joining FCHO as the organisation moves into year three of the investment programme, and as the existing commitment to build 48 new homes across the borough gets underway. This role will allow me to draw on my skills and knowledge in people and project management, gained from almost 30 years in the sector, and I am delighted to be joining the leadership team at FCHO. I look forward to making a positive difference to the homes and communities in Oldham."
