New agents appointed on 76 King Street

Knight Frank and Edwards & Co have been appointed as the joint letting agents for 76 King Street on behalf of 53N, replacing Matthews & Goodman and WHR Property Consultants.

The five-storey building, which has a listed façade, has been refurbished to provide new office space and a refreshed reception area, upgraded common areas, new lifts and full-access raised floors. A total of 17,375 sq ft is available across the first and second floor.

The latest company to move into the building is Orega which provides serviced office space and has recently taken the third and fourth floors totalling 12,805 sq ft.

Andrew Timms, partner of Edwards & Co, said: "76 King Street has been refurbished to a particularly high standard, offering basement car parking and flexible Grade A floor plates with a boutique hotel feel to the offices. Tenants will also benefit from the facilities that Orega can provide such as a private roof terrace and large meeting rooms.

"King Street remains a highly sought after location and we're confident 76 will attract interest from a wide range of companies."

David Porter, partner at Knight Frank added: "This appointment adds to a number of recent instructions we have had for quality buildings in key locations in Manchester. The extensive refurbishment works, including a new remodelled entrance, gives the listed façade a greater presence along King Street, making this a desirable property for potential new tenants."
