NatWest sells in Hale Barns

Acting on behalf of a local family investment trust, TSG Property Consultants and Christie & Co have acquired the freehold of the former NatWest Bank in Hale Barns for an undisclosed sum.

The 1,450 sq ft bank building was sold as part of a series of nationwide disposals by the bank. The premises in Hale Road attracted more than 20 expressions of interest.

The building will now be marketed for alternative use.

Andrew Gardiner, director of TSG, said: "With the withdrawal of banks from the high street, it is good to see premises such as this being returned to active use, and providing vitality to the area."
