NatWest funds extension for the Storage Team in St Helens

The Storage Team, the self-storage operator established a year ago, has secured an £800,000 facility from NatWest to extend its base at Lea Green Business Park in St Helens.

The company will add 9,000 sq ft and acquire an adjacent unit to take the amount of storage space available to 62,000 sq ft. The Storage Team claims that this would be the largest self storage site in Merseyside.

The Storage Team was set up by Kevin Thompson in March 2007 and expects turnover to exceed £500,000 this year.

Thompson said: "The expansion is a direct result of demand for quality, secure space in Merseyside. This recent investment fits in with our original long term plans and we hope to continue our growth with the help of Natwest over the coming years and continue to provide a fantastic service to all our customers."
