NatWest appoints housing finance director

Marcos Navarro has been appointed to lead the bank’s housing finance team for the North of England where he will manage a portfolio of housebuilders across the North West.

The bank currently has 60 housing association clients across the region with loan commitments totalling around £3bn; these include commitments in Manchester and Liverpool.

Navarro has been with the company for 11 years and will be looking to grow the housing finance arm of the bank in North in the coming months. Previously, he worked in the bank’s London housing finance team.

He said: “I’m delighted to lead the housing finance team in the North. As a bank, we have a long history of supporting housing developers and housing associations with their finance needs to support their growth, and the North plays an important part in the sector’s success.

“We are already looking at new ways we can continue to support our clients with their finance requirements, and I look forward to growing the team so we can support even more organisations across the region.”
