Muse sells second office at Oakfield Cheadle Royal

Muse Developments has completed the sale of an 8,500 sq ft office building at Cheadle Royal Business Park in South Manchester to accountancy practice Clarke Nicklin.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, is the second at the Oakfield phase of the large office development, following the arrival of international hearing care company Ascent Investments earlier this year.

Clarke Nicklin, which has 40 employees, expects to relocate from its town centre premises to the office development by December 2009.

Andrew Baggott, partner at Clarke Nicklin, commented: "We've achieved considerable growth in recent years, expanding both our team and our range of specialist services.

"The purchase of a modern, state-of-the-art headquarters will help to build on that success. With its excellent location and unrivalled amenities, Cheadle Royal was head and shoulders above any other office development in the region, living up to its pedigree as the North West's premier business park."

Wes Erlam, development surveyor at Muse Developments, added: "With 2,000 employees and 600,000 sq ft of high quality development, Cheadle Royal is the only business park in the North West to cater for such a diverse range of companies, from small-to-medium-sized enterprises to large multi-nationals.

Clarke Nicklin was represented by Gorvins Solicitors and CD Property Consultancy. DTZ and Lambert Smith Hampton acted for Muse Developments.
