Muse hires from Montreaux as Ball departs
Tom Webber has joined Muse as a senior development surveyor while Greg Ball has departed the company to join Mayfield developer U+I.
Formerly development director with London-based Montreaux, Webber will work across Muse’s mixed-use portfolio of projects in the North West, which includes Stockport Exchange, Church Wharf in Bolton, City Place in Chester, and Time Square in Warrington.
Webber will relocate from London to take up his role with Muse. Previously, he also worked for Mount Anvil.
His appointment follows the departure of Ball, who had been with the company for around five years, having joined from JLL. Ball has left to join U+I, the developer behind Manchester’s £1.1bn Mayfield scheme next to Piccadilly Station.
Commenting on the appointment, Phil Mayall, regional director at Muse Developments, said: “I am delighted to welcome Tom to the team, where he will add his considerable experience delivering major mixed-use schemes in the South to our growing portfolio of schemes here in the North West.
“I would also like to wish Greg all the best in the next chapter of his career.”
“Across the business, we are experiencing a real period of growth, with 13 new faces already added to the team over the last 12 months and we look forward to continuing that momentum throughout 2019.”
Looks like he had to go above and beyond to get the role… congrats, I think.
