Muse Developments has strengthened its team in the North West as it prepares to ramp up development with the relocation of Richard Robinson as projects director from its London office.
Robinson was involved in delivering the 680,000 sq ft mixed-use Vermillion development in Canning Town, London, as well as other developments in the South East.
In the North West, he will support the regional team led by Matt Crompton working on a large portfolio of projects in Chester, Warrington, Blackpool and Stockport among others.
The move comes a few months after David Burkinshaw joined Muse from Ask Developments as development director.
Robinson becomes the tenth director in the growing North West office based in Salford Quays. Crompton is joint managing director; David Hoyle, finance director; Mike Horner, regional director; Paul Parry, director of English Cities Fund, the joint venture with Legal & General and Homes & Communities Agency; Mike Payton, design and construction director; Phil Mayall, Darran Lawless and David Burkinshaw as development directors and Jonathan Ashcroft also project director. There are 25 staff in all in the office, including directors.
Mike Horner, regional director for the North West, said: "We are delighted to welcome Richard to the team at this exciting time. His considerable expertise will provide us with much needed support as we drive forward new and existing schemes in the region."
Robinson added: "To experience the variety of new development challenges that the North West now offers is welcomed and to be invited to join a team in the area where my career commenced, too good an opportunity to miss."
Muse is part of Morgan Sindall Group, the diverse construction group with revenue of over £2bn.
