Mulbury hires Scott to build new business

Lymm-based Mulbury Homes has appointed Kerry Scott as a business development consultant as it looks to expand further into the affordable homes market.

She will assist Mulbury's affordable housing team in liaising with registered housing providers as it looks to expand its successful business model, which currently sees it on track to build over 600 new homes in the next three years.

Scott joins Mulbury from City West Housing Trust where she was a development manager and has vast experience of working in the social housing sector having previously held senior roles with numerous registered housing providers, including Great Places Housing Group.

She specialises in affordable housing and securing bid funding, including project management, development strategies, HCA programme management and investment opportunities.

She also has experience in the extra-care sector having helped to deliver a number of schemes.

Mulberry Homes director Greg Mulligan said: "Kerry brings with her a wealth of valuable experience within the social housing sector which will help us with our plans for future growth.

"We are pleased to have her onboard as she shares our ambition and values."

Scott said: "Mulbury Homes already has a very successful track record in providing affordable homes and my role will be to enhance that by opening up new opportunities.

"I'm joining the firm at an exciting time, with the launch of both the Mulbury Care and Mulbury Living brands, and I look forward to being able to help drive the business forward."
