Mulbury hands over £4m Barnoldswick homes

Specialist developer Mulbury Homes has completed a £4m scheme in Barnoldswick, East Lancashire, making 46 homes available for affordable rent to local families.

Residents will soon start to move into the scheme in Valley Road, which was built on behalf of Housing Pendle, a member of the Together Housing Group.

The contractor on the project was Harbur Construction.

The two- and three-bedroom terraced homes have been built on a 2.3-acre area of vacant scrubland.

All of the properties in the development meet the Homes & Communities Agency’s design and quality standards.

Kevin Morris, construction manager for Mulbury Homes, said: “The craftsmanship and quality of the build on these properties is very high and they look great too. The local community has been incredibly supportive throughout the whole process and can be rightly proud of these new homes, which will help ease the demand for affordable housing in the area.”
