The residential developer has appointed Mike Nevitt as design director, Glyn Fazackerley as construction director and Neil Ashton as commercial director, to support its housing pipeline.
Nevitt is a new hire, while Fazackerley and Ashton were internal promotions. They will all be based at Mulbury’s headquarters in Lymm, Cheshire.
Nevitt joins from his role as design director at contractor Bardsley Construction, where he worked for four and a half years. Bardsley went into administration last December. Prior to Bardsley, Nevitt worked for 12 years as a design manager at Bam Construction.
Fazackerley has worked at Mulbury since 2017 and was previously a senior site manager at David Wilson Homes. Ashton joined Mulbury in February last year, and prior to that was a commercial manager at construction and civil engineering company CPUK.
Mulbury has has eight developments on site at present, which will together provide more than 1,000 homes in the region over the next nine months. Place North West revealed today the company has submitted a planning application for 370 apartments in Manchester’s New Cross with work targeted to start on site in the coming months subject to gaining approval.
Martin Bury, co-founder and director at Mulbury, said: “Glyn and Neil have played a huge part in our recent success. Glynn has been instrumental in developing our in-house construction team and Neil’s commercial expertise has been central to the delivery of new sites.
“They will continue to be a driving force behind our future growth plans and it’s a pleasure to promote them both to the role of director.
“Meanwhile, Mike is another big appointment for us. His experience in the sector is enormous and alongside our senior team he will support our aspirations to deliver hundreds of new homes across the region.”
